Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 06:30 AM. Your family guide distributes Junior Safari Ranger activity packs to children during the drive. Travel south along the Nairobi–Narok highway, stopping at a Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and a brief age-appropriate wildlife talk. Arrive in the Maasai Mara by mid-afternoon. After check-in and lunch, embark on your first family game drive from 15:30–18:30. The guide narrates each sighting for all ages — describing animal behavior, diet, and social structures. Children record sightings in their nature journals. Return to camp for dinner and a campfire storytelling session on African wildlife folklore. Early morning family game drive from 06:00 AM. The golden hour is excellent for predator sightings, and the guide helps children spot tracks and animal signs. Mid-morning, the vehicle stops for a fully set-up bush breakfast outdoors in the open Mara — tables, linen, and freshly cooked food under the open sky. At 11:00 AM visit a local Maasai village where children participate in jumping dances and listen to elder storytelling about stars, cattle, and the history of the Mara. Leave Nairobi in the morning with activity packs distributed to children. The drive south along the Nairobi–Narok highway takes approximately 5–6 hours.
