Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 07:00 AM heading northwest along the Nairobi–Nakuru highway. Arrive at Lake Naivasha town in approximately 1.5 hours and proceed to your lakeside campsite for check-in and a brief orientation. Hire bicycles at the park gates and embark on a guided cycling safari inside Hell's Gate National Park — one of Kenya's only parks where guests can cycle freely alongside free-roaming giraffe, zebra, Thomson's gazelle, eland, and warthog. Your guide leads you on foot into the dramatic Hell's Gate Gorge in the afternoon — a winding slot canyon with towering basalt columns and natural geothermal features. Return to the lakeside campsite for an outdoor barbecue dinner around a roaring campfire. Meals: Lunch and Dinner (campfire barbecue) | Overnight: Lakeside Tented Camp, Naivasha
Start the morning with a guided boat ride on Lake Naivasha departing at 07:30 AM. The lake is home to over 300 bird species including African fish eagles, cormorants, and kingfishers. Your boatman will guide you close to hippo pods and towards Crescent Island — a private walking wildlife sanctuary — where you can disembark for a guided walk among giraffe, zebra, and wildebeest (entrance fee payable locally).
