Nairobi to Nanyuki to Sirimon Gate (2,650m)
Road transfer north from Nairobi to Nanyuki town, then to the Sirimon Gate on the northwest slopes of Mount Kenya. Journey approximately 3.5 hours.
Old Moses Camp (3,300m) to Shipton's Camp (4,200m)
Two days of acclimatizing ascent through montane forest and open afroalpine moorland via the scenic Sirimon track and Mackinder's Valley.
Summit — Point Lenana (4,985m)
Pre-dawn push to the summit via the Harris Tarn moraine and scree slopes. Arrive at summit at sunrise for the most spectacular views in Kenya.
Chogoria Descent to Nairobi
